Update 8|5|2016 12:09PM:
Boys Don't Cry is expected for release on Never. It's never being released. Thanks, Mr. Ocean. Take your time, man. Whatever.
We got played, y'all.

Typically, maybe not. Boys don't cry, but this boy (me) will shed a few tears if Mr. Frank Ocean doesn't deliver the album that he owes us. If tomorrow goes as planned, the long wait for Frank Ocean's sophomore album will be over.
Of course Boys Don't Cry is going to be an Apple Music exclusive. New York Times is also reporting that a video and a printed publication will accompany the rollout. The publication, titled Boys Don't Cry will be distributed at Apple Stores. Personally, I don't think I need all of the extras. The music will suffice.
Frank's album is expected to only be a 2-week long Apple Music exclusive (like most are) before becoming available on all platforms. I'm sure this will secure him great charting positions and sales. So, that's cool. I guess.
Anyone remember 2011's mixtape release, Nostalgia, Ultra? That was our introduction to Frank. That was followed by the 2013 album, Channel Orange. The mixtape was better, but I still remember how fire "Pyramids" from the album was. I'm really looking forward to this album.
Boys Don't Cry has to be great. The hype is too real, and it's been 4 years! Way too long. I feel that many folks that make the memes about the missing album probably have never heard the mixtape, and that's ok. But that means that more people than ever are paying attention.
I highly doubt that we will be disappointed, but I really do hope the album delivers, and in turn inspire Frank Ocean to become more visible and active. You know, maybe go on tour? Just a suggestion.
