The wait for my Kanye West experience has finally come to an end. I had the opportunity to see Yeezus himself at the second stop of his Saint Pablo Tour. My tickets were gifted to me in June as an early birthday gift - thanks, Mom! I waited two months for this show, and I've been to many shows here in Buffalo, but this whole experience was different.
Because this was my first Kanye show, I really had no expectations. Though, I did read all of the reviews, and watch the videos posted on Instagram and Twitter from the debut show in Indianapolis, IN.
My friends and I arrived at First Niagara Center around 8:30pm, and the line wrapped around the building, as the doors were not open yet. Every other concert I've been to, I've never had to wait. All this did was heighten my anticipation and excitement. We waited for about 20 minutes. Clearing security was quick and easy, surprisingly.
Seeing the stage suspended from the air was just amazing. Maybe Kanye isn't the first to do something like this, but it was the first time I saw it!
If you've ever been to a concert, you know that that concerts barely start on time... ever. This worked to my advantage, though. I was able to go buy drinks, and converse with the folks around me. We discussed if Travis Scott would perform, because he was there. We also tried to guess if the rumors about Gucci Mane being in attendance too were real. I'm not sure that part was true.
The concert started 2 hours late, but I barely noticed. Once I realized how late it was becoming, I became worried that the show would be cut short. Luckily it wasn't.

There's a bit of every Kanye era for everyone at the Saint Pablo Tour to satisfy the most hardcore fan to the most casual of fans. You will not be disappointed. I promise that! The stage setup is amazing! I know Kanye put all thought and effort into this stage design, because he's Kanye, and wants the audience to see all of him. An idea that only Kanye could think of himself - and I thank him for that! Everyone is included in the show. The stage rotates, it moves, the lights are amazing. It was everything. This is probably the first concert where having nosebleed seats are the better option!
He really did 32 songs. 32 songs!! Here's the setlist.
I honestly had the time of my life. The show was crazy! He seemed to be hype, and in a good mood. The stage designed seemed to work, and well executed. Enjoyed myself, and is the best concert I've ever been to!
